To expand specific items you should use API function
function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)

Q: We are experimenting with your library but can't seem to make it work. I am getting "d_ddm is undefined" in dmenu_popup.js menu script.

to

onClick="return dm_popup(0, 500, event);

If you have only one menu on the page your menuInd = 0;

Q: How do you change the back ground color of the menu?
menuBackColor just changes the pull down background.
I'm stuck with a blue background which i guess is the default.

I've looked at the parameters page for info, tried a few different items but none worked for changing the background.

I'm sure its something very obvious, but any help would be appreciated.

A: Please, don't forget to change also item background colors:

Q: Expandable javascript menu doesn't actually affect the plus/minus icon I have specified. Any ideas?

A: It is not correctly to add expand/collapse buttons into the iconfield, they won't work. You should add icons there.

To add expand/collapse buttons you should use the followingparameters:
