Q: I have just downloaded your trial version and am trying to use delux tuner using the windows xpstyle template.
I can only seem to get the top button showing as grey but can change colors of submenus in dhtml xml menu.
Am I missing something? ?ow do I get the top button showing the same as submenu buttons.
A: To change submenu colors you should change the following parameters:
var menuBackColor="#F2F3F2";
var itemBackColor=["#F2F3F2","#535353"];
and Individual Submenu Style:
var menuStyles = [
["menuBackColor=#F2F3F2","menuBorderWidth=0","itemSpacing=0","itemPadding=4px","smOrientation=undefined"],
];
For the top items you should change Individual Item style:
var itemStyles = [
["itemHeight=21px","itemBackColor=#F2F3F2,#535353"],

Q: You know how you can drag sub-menus? Well I was wondering if it is possible to drag individual items off of the sub-menu?

Q: I recently downloaded JavaScript Tree Menu to try before I buy. While it was easy to create a menu, when I followed the directions for pasting in the two lines of code where I wanted the menu to appear, it didn't work. Rather, it always positioned the menu at the very top of the page.
Is this intentionally the case because this is a trial version?
I very much like the program; however, I have to know it's going to work correctly before I buy.

Q: I want javascript navigation menu to lock into place when someone visits a page. Is there a way to do this?
A: Try to set the pressed item using the following API function:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a dynamic menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
parentOpen = true/false - open all submenus to show the selected item

Try to click 'Highlight "Product Info/Installation/Description ofFiles" item'.
You can also try to use the following parameter:
var smHidePause = 1000;
A delay (in ms) between mouse is moved from submenu and its closing.
You can make submenus to stay visible till you click outside the menu or scroll your page.
To enable this feature you should set this parameter in the following way: var smHidePause = -1;
