Q: Java sub menu not working after upgrade to deluxe menu 3.0. Please check.
A: See, you've set the following parameter:
var transparency="0";
That is mean that your submenus will be transparent. You won't seethem.
Try to set another value, for example:
var transparency="100";
Q: I am trying to have the selected top item in the pop up menu remain on the mouseover event after it is selected.
It seemed to be working fine when i was just testing with # as a link
but when i actually linked to different pages it returns to normal.
How do i get this to work?

JavaScript Tree Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/dmenu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"> var pressedItem=3;</script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/data.js"></script>
You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: What is the difference between itemStyles and menuStyles for the down javascript menu?
A: See you should assign the menuStyles to the whole submenu (the first item in the submenu).
itemStyles you should assign for each item individually.

Q: What I want to do is use your XP Tabs Template.
It appears fine in the Preview Pane but when I load it on my web page the sub-items are all listed on the same line as the tabs.
A: If you want to create subtabs in your menu you should use Tab Mode
var tabMode=1;
and write your bmenuItems in the following way:
var bmenuItems = [
["-","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 1","content1", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 2","content2", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["|SItem 226","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 3","content3", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["|SXP Tab 4","content4", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["-","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
];
but in that case you can't assign the ID of the DIV to show when youclick on the tab. You can set the links only.
