Q: I've got an xp style menu that I'm trying to place within a table... Things are not rendering as I'd expect
I am trying to put the menu in the left column of the table, a form on the right side, and then center the entire table.
The html table is surrounded by a center tag (have tried a div tag with no difference).
It appears the xp menu is obeying the center tag, but not keeping it relative to the containing table...
How can I fix this issue? I have also attached the html source code as it is rendered in the browser in case that is of some use.
A: You should set the following parameter:
var tabsolute = 0;
You're using absolute position for the menu now.
Q: Under Parameters ->> Dimensions ->menuWidth
Even I change the value such as 150px it doesn't have any effect on javascript dhtml menu itself.
Changing menuHeight property such as menuHeight = 123px moves menu down from the top of the page instead of changing height of the menu itself.
I used templates ->> vista -> vista style 3-03 to generate the javascript dhtml menu and modified it.
A: See, you have itemWidth and itemHeight in the Individual Style.

You cannot set the less value for the menuwidth in that case. You canset only the bigger value:
var menuWidth="550px";
To change the menuHeight you should also use itemHeight parameter, forexample
itemHeight=123px
Q: I have menus generated by you deluxe menu package . They look fine on all my computer but look bad on my friends computer.
Can this be fixed?

Try to specify all units in "px", for example:
var menuHeight="22px";
Try to set exact width for menu item
var menuWidth="736px";
Try also not to set
var smWidth="0";
var smHeight="0";

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when I click on a drop down menu links tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row. I have tried fiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out. Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected after i click it and goto the page.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected drop down menu links tab.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" drop down menu links parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:
