Q: I am conisdering purchasing your menu generator product, however I have a question that is very important to me.

How can I add a separator to the dhtml menu examples using the dynamic functions? It seems as though the only way to get a separator into the menu is by defining it before hand, but the website I'm building will require me to reload the menus dinamically, and I'm losing the ability to put separators on it.

If there's a workaround for it, or if there's a chance that you can give me a prototype function that exposes that functionality, that would be acceptable as well.

A: You should add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItem (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams)
or
function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

(We have a page with three frames, the second frame is a page with 2 frames. we would want that the menu was opened in the second frame of this page)

Q: I would like to know how to put items in on multiple lines for the horizontal navigation
(i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menuitem on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1) set

  var noWrap=0;

2) use <br> tags, for example:

Q: I've just put together a new drop down menu box for one of the sites I'm working on and whilst in IE it works fine, in FF the drop down menu box is not appearing over the Flash banner.

I don't understand why as this was put together with the latest version of JavaScript Tree Menu - my understanding was that this issue was resolved a while back?

Can you help me sort this.
