I downloaded a trial version of your software and I did so because your description says it can utilize a database.
I have tried to modify a menu with my database, but with no success.
If you can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

My sub menus are not rendering correctly in IE8 RC1 when my Vista machine is set to 120 dpi. I did not notice this as a problem until I installed RC1 today. A: The menu works correctly in IE8 RC1 (120 dpi), if your browser image any font incorrectly(Tahoma in that case) the menu couldn't correct this.
It is possible that the reason is in the filters. You can try to turn off filters orchange font:

But you haven't specified hour in the date format. Now you have
%L %d, %Y, %l: %M %p
month day year abbreviated month name minute either `am' or `pm'
So, you have: January 29, 2009, Jan:54 am

Try to specify date format in the following way:
%L %d, %Y, %l, %I:%M %p
