Q: I have used the menu features many times and am used to having the code to be inserted into the html page provided when the project is saved.
I have successfully created my first popup window (not the popup menu) which I want to use for text information to open when a text is clicked.
The preview has this working fine but when I saved the project there was no code created to install on the site and I cannot find directions within the program or at your website.
Please advise on how to install a created javascript popup window to an XHTML page linked to text.
A: For example you want to open your popup window when you click the link on your page.
You should do the following:
1) Open your page (for example index.html page) in any text editor.
Add link in the place where you want to have it and specify the ID (for example: win1) for it, for example:

2) Create a popup window in Deluxe Tuner. Add your content.
You can use HTML content, Iframe (url) or any object on your page as popup windows content - Object ID.
For example select HTML content (winContent parameter in the 'Common' section) and add the content in HTML Content window, for example:
<div style="text-align:center;"><b>Sample content</b></div>
This is a simple HTML code for content. Here you may also set link to content page or ID of some element.
3) In the 'Actions' section specify the id of your link (win1) for the onClick event.

4) Select the template you want to use.
5) Export your popup window to HTML page. File -> Export -> To HTML. Save it in any testfolder.
So, you'll have:

deluxe-popup-window.html
deluxe-popup-window.js
6) Open the generated deluxe-popup-window.html file in any text editor.
Copy all code for Popup window and paste it in the beginning of the <body> tag:

7) Copy 'deluxe-popup-window.files/' folder and deluxe-popup-window.js file into the samefolder with your index.html (root folder of your website).
Q: We are unable to get sub-menus to appear on page load or rather simulate a "windows application style menu".
How can we in combination with the java menu api function dm_ext_setPressedItem get the associated sub-menu to display? This function simply sets the item to "pressed" rather than actually showing the sub-menu. Attempts at beginning an item's text value with "+" only works with Javascript/DHTML Tree.
Again, we are trying to use the menu not only as a navigator but also as a visual aid for the user to determine what page they are viewing. For example, when a user clicks on a menu item and that page loads, the menu should display the top-level item pressed, the sub-menu group, and the item pressed.
Furthermore, it would also be useful if we could then "unlock" the pressed items and navigate the menu under normal circumstances.
If there are no existing "quick" functions to accomplish this, could you please point out the function in dmenu.js or another engine file that initiates the display of sub-menus, we could then force the menu to select a top-level item in the onload event thus showing a top-level item pressed along with it's related sub-menu.
A: Unfortunately JavaScript Tree Menu doesn't have such a feature now. It is notpossible to set parent item highlighted, expanded submenu group andhighlighted submenu item.
You can do it using Javascript/DHTML Tree now only.
Q: In IE7 I see the deluxe-menu.com link on the top and no javascript navigation menu on my page.
A: Your browser has JavaScript option disabled.
It means that no one JavaScript element can be run.
You should to enable JavaScript in IE:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom level... -> Scripting -> Active Scripting = Enable
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in other
case there are no reasons to create security preferences.
You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all your
links (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.
You can generate search engine friendly code.
JavaScript Tree Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).
Q: I would like to separate each main menu item in a dhtml menu bar with a dotted line graphic.
A: To add a separator you should
