Thanks, we tried giving var pressedItem=0; and the script as below:
We are facing 2 problems
1) Two menus are getting highlighted, the "Home" and the dynamic html menu which is called onLoad using dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0); function)
2) The submenu of the dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0) is not getting highlighted. A: Try to set
dm_ext_setPressedItem function has a following parameters:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)
So, if you want to highlight item in the submenu you should use itemInd of this item (notitemInd of the parent item).
For example you want to highlight submenu item of the 'Manage Users' parent item with
You can find more info about dynamic html menu indexes here:
So you should write the function in the following way:
dm_ext_setPressedItem (0, 3, 15, 1, 1)
menuInd = 0 if you have only one menu on the page
submenuInd = 3, see how to determine submenuInd in the table
itemInd = 15, see how to determine itemInd in the table
recursion = 1, to highlight parent items
parentOpen = 1, to open the submenu with the selected item.Q:
In IE first tab of tabbed navigation is coming selected but in firefox it is not coming selected.A: Check the following parameters:
var bselectedItem=0; //top items
var bselectedSmItem=1; //submenus
Notice that all indexes starts with 0.
My top levels over the menu have no link and as such I need the cursor not to change when hovering over it – only change over the menus that drop down.
Please let me know how to fix this A: Unfortunately, you can't change cursor type for different items.
But you can write so:
["< a href='http://deluxe-menu.com/'> Home ["Product Info","", , , , , "0", , , ],
["|What's New","", , , , , "0", , , ],
In all items with links you should use < a> tag.

I have another question regarding the popup window. I need to use an iframe within the popup window. Is there any way I can close the onmouseover popup from the page loaded within the iframe? Something like "parent.document.getElementById('windowid').hide();". Any help would be appreciated. A: You can close the onmouseover popup using the following function:document.getElementById('win').hide();
Unfortunately it won't work if you use iframe as window content.
You open another page in the popup (in Iframe) so you cannot accessdocument.getElementById('win').hide();
element which is situated on the first page.
When you use text or object_id as window content the content of the popup will be situatedon the same page so you can access document.getElementById('win') element and hide it.
There is a workaround.
Use text as content type and add the following code inside popup:
<a onclick="document.getElementById('win').hide();">...</a> <iframe></iframe>
Your link will work in that case.
