Q: Irene, thank you. I am working on seeing what you did and trying to get it to work on my computer. I keep getting ActiveX blocking errors when open page with the drop down menu source code on my computer. Is this something I can control from within the html code? Or is this something each user is going to have to change setting(s) in their IE Internet Options?
p.s., I had the code on the page twice cuz was just trying to get something... anything.... to work. I deleted the 2nd set which was further down on the page. I'm trying to get the menus to appear in the grey band just below the blue heading section but prior to the white text description section. And, once I get the menus to work, the navigation bar on left will be deleted. Thank you so much for your patience and help!
A: You can get the following message
"To help protect your security in IE ..."
on your local machine only. You won't have such message when you openyour website via Internet.
If you don't want to see this message you should do the followingthings:
Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/
and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".
Close Internet Explorer and open it once again.
There will be no such message any more.
Q: The submenus of the javascript menu buttons are reported behind the mediaplayer (IE 8)
A: Try to set the following parameter for your object:
windowlessvideo="true"
So, you'll have:

Q: I would like all my submenus of the html menu to appear in the same location on the page and not relative to the parent menu item.
A: You can do it using the following parameters:
var subMenuAlign = "left"; - Horizontal alignment for submenus.
"pleft", "pcenter", "pright" - alignment relative to the parent submenu.
var subMenuVAlign = "top"; - Submenus vertical alignment.
"ptop", "pcenter", "pbottom" - alignment relative to the parent submenu.
Q: We are using your deluxe menu on our live site, but I have a question about the initial setup of the menu.
I need to update the site and a create a new version where the JavaScript Tree Menu is painted, but not initially displayed until the user has been validated. We are runing the entire site from a single page with multiple iFrames. I have been using the code document.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden"; to hide the menu during startup, but I would rather have the floating menu hidden initially and then displayed as the user is validated and gain access to the functionality.
So the question is: Is there a property in the data.js file - or any other file - where the menu can be hidden initially until needed?
A: You can hide the menu onloaddocument.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden";
And then show the floating menu when your user will be validated.
