Q: Hello, I am trying to figure out how to use the Dynamic functionality in the java menu codes. I believe I want to use something like the dm_ext_changeItemVisibility function, and I want it to be dependent on HTML wrapped around the menu item.
Below is functionally how I want it to work:
Show menu item 1
Show menu item 2

Show menu item 3
</if>
Show menu item 4
Is there an example you can share that does something like this? I searched the site and could not find an answer.

You can call these function via javascript depending on your conditions.
Q: I am using your Ajax menu and am generally delighted with it. Its ability to load sub menus on the fly is just what I have been looking for.
However, I have noticed in IE7 that it can leave sub menus displayed when you have moused off that particular ajax drop down menu. Can this be fixed?
Also, can you get the menu to disappear when you mouse off the menu, rather than having to hover over another menu or click the page off the menu.

var smHidePause=-1;
It means that your submenus won't be hidden till you click or scroll your page.
If you want to hide your submenus on mouse out you should set another value, for example:
var smHidePause=1000;

It is possible that the speed of showing the menu can be lower if the menu is very large. But it doesn't take so much time.
2) JavaScript Tree Menu works fine in most of browsers on Windows OS, MAC OS, Linux/Unix OS.

You don't have to install additional software.
Your customer should change security settings in IE to allow Javascript on pages he loads.
When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
3) JavaScript Tree Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:
1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage
2. open html source code of the page
