Q: I have deluxe-menu 3.2.5 and now I can't open my old menu files. I get thefollowing error message in dhtml menu creator "Can't open the file:
H:\data-menu.js. Check youre encode parameter." I have tried to open several different menu files and I always get the same error message. Do you have any solution of this problem?

A: You should change Deluxe Tuner settings:

Try to turn off the encoding property "Tools/use utf8 encode" and open your datafile once again.

Q: Click on the option "telefoonlijst" and a submenu has to pop-down… whay is this done not OVER the other object (e.e. the 'frameDESKTOP')

Unfortunately, JavaScript Tree Menu can work within 1 frameset only. It can't work within nested framesets.

Notice that you should add dmenu_cf.js file in the folder where your menu is created in.

Q: Hi, I am testing your menu system for my company and would like to know how to keep the menu in the centre of the page like <centre></centre>.
I know how to do it without a floating menu but cannot work out how to do this with it floating.


A: When you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.

Q: Is there any way can we display sub level menu items on mouse over of first level menu items using tabs (Text Style Javascript Dhtml Tab / Java Script Tab Script Text Style / Javascript Tab Navigation Text Style / Javascript Tabbed Menus XP Style)


A: Unfortunately, you can do it on mouseover with Deluxe Tabs.
But you can create such menu using JavaScript Tree Menu.
