Q: How can I manage that the last clicked javascript expanding tree item stays tree highlighted?
A: We have the following API function to highlight the pressed item in Javascript/DHTML Tree
function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)
But unfortunately this function doesn't work for AJAX submenus.

I seem to have no control over the length of time the tooltip stays active nor the colour or size of the font in that through script drop down menu. Am I missing something? I would like to be able to have the tooltip stay for about 30 seconds and also change the font size and colour of text in the tooltip only.
A: No this is a standard hint, there is no way to increase the time it stayson the screen or change its color.

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.
When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"
and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" on
the main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"
window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.
So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images
("deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), deluxe-menu.html file and
data-deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.
Open deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows of
code into your page (for example index.html page of your website).
Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

You should also copy "deluxe-menu.files/" folder with all engine files

and data-deluxe-menu.js file into the same folder with your index.html page.

Q: Can the JavaScript Tree Menus be set to open by click and stay open when clicked for some time?
A: You can open JavaScript Tree Menu on click. Set this parameter:
var showByClick = 0; Show submenus on a mouse click only.
0 - disabled (default), 1 - enabled.
You can use such parameter in you menu:
var transDuration = 300; - Delay of a transitional effect (in ms) on submenu's showing.
