We're interested in the pop up menu (context menu) you offered. Is it possible to generate multiple context menus at the same page?
Is the context menu also 508 compliant, in other words, keyboard accessible?A: Yes, you can use as many context menus as you want on the same page.
You should call your data files at first
<img src="deluxe-menu.files/logo_w.gif" onClick="return dm_popup(0, 1000, event);" style="cursor: pointer;"> //1st menu
<img src="deluxe-menu.files/logo_w.gif" onClick="return dm_popup(1, 1000, event);" style="cursor: pointer;"> //2nd menu
You can use keyboard in context menus but you have to click (or hover) the image. And only after your subitems appear you can press "Ctrl+F2" and arrow keys to navigate themenu.
But if you have multiple menus on one page and use keystrokes support you can navigate only the first menu.
that a menu selection stays 'on' for the navigation bar script?
In other words, the menu remains selected, perhaps in a background color
that shows the user this menu choice is selected and the user is in the selected menu area. A: To save your navigation path you should set the following parameter:
var saveNavigationPath = 1;
The menu keeps items highlighted during menu navigation.
0 - disabled, 1 - enabled (default).
You can highlight menu items by default in two ways:
1) Set the pressed item on each page idividually using the following parameter:
var pressedItem = -2;
The toggle mode. Sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;
-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, but no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-level menu.
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, for example:
2) Set the pressed item/subitem using dm_ext_setPressedItem () function.

My office-colleague gilles petremand just bought your "deluxe menu" and all-in-all it looks great!!!!
What we don't manage to do is to create a moving java menu sample based on.
Is this only possible with the "ms office toolbar-like mode" 'coz we'd like to use the image based menue template and change it to a moving one - POSSIBLE?!? A: To create a movable or floatable menu you should set severalparameters in your data file only.
See more info here:
To create movable menu you should set the following parameters:
//--- Movable Menu
To create floatable menu you should set the following parameters:
//--- Floatable Menu
I am using cross frame menu dropdown. I have three frames: Top, Left and main (middle).
I am using the script and data from your sample file; it works fine. Only problem is submenu is offset to the right. It does not show up exactly down below the top menu.
The problem is in a structure of your frameset.
Mozilla browsers can't determine absolute coordinates for a frame, so submenus drop down with an offset.
You should create, for example, the following frameset structure:
Now a top row has 2 columns and all browsers can determine a width of the 1st column in the second row.
You should write init function in the following way in that case:
