Q: I want to use
function dtreet_ext_userRightClick(itemID) {

alert(itemID[0]); ???

return false;
}

But how do I refer to tmenuItems array using itemID in the javascript?
For example, if I want to pop a link text, should I use alert(itemID[0]))?
It doesn't work.
Please let me know how I refer to the menu.

A: You should use the following function to get item's info:

dtreet_ext_getItemParams (0, itemID);

For example:

<script type="text/javascript">

function dtreet_ext_userRightClick(itemID)
{   var link = [];
link = dtreet_ext_getItemParams (0, itemID);
//Returns item parameters in the array:
// [item_id, index_within_submenu, parentID, level, has_child, child_count, expanded, text, link, target, tip, align, icons, hidden, disabled, visible]

alert(link[7]);

return false;
}
</script>

Q: Mouseover "QUICK LINKS" at the top. The bottom java menu navigation item is falling behind the mainnav table.

It works fine in FireFox. Any suggestions?

A: Try to add a high z-index for the DIV with top menu, for example:

<DIV id=containerHeaderNav style="POSITION: absolute; z-index:50;">

Q: We are using the javascript drop down menu code to create an external link. The absolute path is recognised but it does not work. At the bottom of the page the browser displays an "error on page" message and nothing happens.

A: Now you have

<script type="text/javascript">  var dmWorkPath = "wdmenu.files/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="wdmenu.files/dmenu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">  var dmWorkPath="wdtabs.files/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="wdtabs.files/wdtabs.js"></script>

The second call for dmWorkPath is incorrect. Delete it. So you'llhave:

<script type="text/javascript">  var dmWorkPath = "wdmenu.files/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="wdmenu.files/dmenu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="wdtabs.files/wdtabs.js"></script>

Your menu will work correctly.

Q: I was wondering why when I add the code below the flash disappears in safari, but now works in Firefox, when the dropdown menu is rolled over? Can it work in both Safari and Firefox?

function dm_ext_ruleObjectHide()
{
// Safari detect
if ((parseInt(navigator.productSub)>=20020000) && (navigator.vendor.indexOf('Apple Computer') != -1) && (navigator.product=='Gecko'))
return true;
else
return false;
}

A: The following code in this function

// Safari detect
if ((parseInt(navigator.productSub)>=20020000) && (navigator.vendor.indexOf('Apple Computer') != -1) && (navigator.product=='Gecko'))
return true;
hides flash in Safari.

JavaScript Tree Menu can't drop down over an object correctly in Safari that iswhy the latter will be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.

You can try to delete this code.
