Q: That worked for the rollover drop down menu but I lost my drop shadow on the main menu. The sub-menus still have it. The preview has the drop shadow but when I view it in IE it is not there.

A: You should check the following parameters:

  var shadowLen=3;
  var shadowColor="#B1B1B1";

Q: Is it possible to dynamically generate new popup window"on the go"?
We want several popups to appear. We have tried to automagically assigna random name, but without success, the show() command kills the commands and just redirects.


A: You can do it in two ways:
1) Call different data files with DIFFERENT winID:"window1"!

2) Call only one data file and use deluxePopupWindow.open() function to open your windows:

Q: How do I make the links in the transparent drop down menu NOT open up in a new window?

A: Try to set the following parameter:

Q: The reason why I bought this javascript menu html was its ability to float. I have inserted the following data under Floatable Menu but my menu is fixed like a rock.

A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.
