Recent Questions Asp Net Tree Menu Vertical CssQ:
I have just bought the software and created a first menu.
As you can see the sub-menus appear away for the menu/navigation bar.
This doesnТt happen when I put the code into an .html file without any divs.
Can you suggest what the problem might be here? A: The problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add <DIV id=nav_bar_main>
So, you'll have:
<DIV id=nav_bar_main style="position:absolute;">
<p><img border="0" src="images/submenu-bg.gif" width="170" height="29" id="open_popup"></p>
So, in the Deluxe Tuner you should enter 'open_popup' object ID in the onMouseOver,onClick or onMouseOut fields.
Actually you can assign id to any object on your page:
add id="open_popup" for <a>, <div>, <img> ... tags.
2) Or you can create only one data file and use deluxePopupWindow.open() function to open the popups.
More info about deluxePopupWindow.open() function you can find:
function deluxePopupWindow.open("winID", "content", "header", "param", "skin", "contentType")
Use another winID (first parameter) than you have in your data file if you don't want to close 1-st popup window or use the same winID=win if you want to close 1-st popup.
content - will be the path to the file you want to load in your popup (files/test.html)
skin - is the name of your skin (default in my example)
contentType - set this parameter to iframe.
If you want to open several windows at once use different id's for each link.Q:
We are implementing your licensed drop down menu in dhtml on our new site and it does not appear to work in Firefox.A: Now you have:
it is not correct.
You should set, for example:
Try also to set:
var itemPadding="0px 15px 0px 15px";
Unfortunately it won't work if you use iframe as window content.
You open another page in the popup (in Iframe) so you cannot access
element which is situated on the first page.
When you use text or object_id as window content the content of the popup will be situated
on the same page so you can access document.getElementById('win') element and hide it.
There is a workaround for Iframe.
Use text as content type and add the following code inside popup:
<a onclick="document.getElementById('win').hide();">...</a> <iframe></iframe>
