Q: We are using your deluxe menu on our live site, but I have a question about the initial setup of the menu.

I need to update the site and a create a new version where the JavaScript Tree Menu is painted, but not initially displayed until the user has been validated. We are runing the entire site from a single page with multiple iFrames. I have been using the code document.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden"; to hide the menu during startup, but I would rather have the floating menu hidden initially and then displayed as the user is validated and gain access to the functionality.

So the question is: Is there a property in the data.js file - or any other file - where the menu can be hidden initially until needed?

A: You can hide the menu onloaddocument.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden";

And then show the floating menu when your user will be validated.

Q: There is a portion of my site that is set to produce frames and I was wondering if there is more information about setting links in a javascript collapsable menu to selected frame pages?

A: You can specify target parameter for each item in javascript collapsable menu individually.

For example you can specify the name of the frame in the menuItems where you would liketo open your link:

A: You can expand all items in Javascript/DHTML Tree, set:
  var texpanded=1;

To expand specific items you should add "+" sign before item's text:

Q: What I mean is I still want the destination page to be static inthe   var menuitems but when the javascript side menu item is clicked, it'll run a js on the onclick or mouseup event.

Is this possible?

something like:

A: You can achieve this by using standard html objects within javascript side menu items, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onContextMenu='your_code_here'>item text</div>", ""]
];

Actually you can use any html code within menuItems.
