A: bselectedSmItem is index of the selected subtab.

You should use this javascript onclick menu parameter if you use   var tabMode=1;

If you use   var tabMode=0;
you should set it to:
  var bselectedSmItem=0;

Q: Does your menu have the ability to have small text boxes on it?
For example the search box on your main page under your logo.

A: You can use any html code within item text, for example:

Q: Can I change some of the properties of a browser popup window after it has been created/opened?

A: You can use deluxePopupWindow.open() function to open your popup:
