Q: I am afraid I am still having difficulties.

Key issue is fine, no problems there. However, I cannot seem to make this NOT showing me a window open example when the page opens. I just want to have popups upon click. What I want is to be able to create links, within the same page, that will popup windows of different content and size, all upon click (not upon page loading.

What am I doing wrong here?

In the site I have the following:
1. A www.domain.gr/deluxe-popup-window.files folder
2. A http://www.domain.gr/deluxe-popup-window.js script
3. and my test page creating the popups

So, in my sample page:
1. I do NOT want to have the 1st popup which loads automatically as the page opens
2. I want to have the 2 samples shown there, Sample 2 and Sample 3.
3. These 2 samples must show windows of different width and height.

Please help me here.

Looking forward to your answer.

A: Delete openAfter= text from the deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent()function in the following file:

http://www.domain.gr/deluxe-popup-window.js

In that case popup window won't show till you click on the link.

deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent(win,',,,,,')

Q: What I try to make is a menu dhtml with items having a border of only 1 px, also between the menu items. However it seems that Deluxe menu draws a 1 px line around every menu item giving an effective border line of 2 px between the area where the items touch each other. I want to have 1 px border also on the areas where the items touch each other.
Any suggestion how to fix this?

A: If you want to have the 1px border between the items only you canuse separators.

Please, see the following parameters:

//--- Separators
  var separatorImage=""; //for subitems
  var separatorWidth="5";
  var separatorHeight="100%";
  var separatorAlignment="right";
  var separatorVImage="images/public/separator.gif"; //for the top items
  var separatorVWidth="1";
  var separatorVHeight="100%";
  var separatorPadding="";

You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["Home","index.cfm", , , , , , , , ],
["-"],
["About Us","about.cfm", , , , , , , , ],

];

Q: I looked through your FAQ's to solve my problem of trying to make the background of the top dhtml slide menu transparent. I set the itemBackColor to transparent and also menuBackColor to transparent. Do I have to changeanother setting to activate this? Right now it is currently white and I can't even find a spot that would make it white, unless it's just white by default.

A: Check that you haven't set background color in the Individual Styles.

Q: We need Asian fonts to be displayed on the menu. Is there any way that we can really make it happen?

The constraint is we have to display the drop down in Cross Frame and Cross Domain environment.
Your inputs will be really appreciated.

A: You can use any font in your menu.
You should install the font on your computer.

You're able to use any characters for JavaScript Tree Menu in the same way asyou use them for standard html page.
The only issue is that submenus can be shown in incorrect positionwhen you're using dir=rtl for your page.

  var dmRTL = 0;
Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.Use also  var smViewType = 2;for right-to-left languages.
