Q: How to include the search box? With javascript menu maker there is not the option...

A: Use the following javascript menu parameter to enable/disable the "search support" for the Deluxe menu:

  var dmSearch=2;

0-nosearch; 1-ordinary search (within one level of submenus only); 2-recursive (within the whole menu).

Set item's link to "search:", for example:

Q: When I export the file sometimes the links doesn't work in css tabbed menu


A: See, you can use links if you have
  var tabMode=1;
only.

If you have
  var tabMode=0;

You should use the ID of the DIV.

But you can try to open your pages using different targets in thefollowing way

["tab text", "javascript: window.open('test.html', 'frameName')", ...],
["tab text", "javascript: window.open('http://deluxe-tabs.com/test.html', '_self')", ...],
["tab text", "javascript: window.open('html/test.html', '_blank')", ...],

Where frameName - the name of the frame where to open the page test.html.

Using this method you can create Deluxe Tabs in  var tabMode=0; and   var tabMode=1;


Q: Is it correct that in javascript treeview menu you can specify your target as a different frame?

A: Yes, you can specify frame name as the target in Javascript/DHTML Tree:

  var titemTarget="frame";



Q: No matter where I paste the script in the html for the drop down menu I created, it shows up at the top left corner of the page.

I would like it to go below the blue banner at the top of the page.
Please advise as to what I am doing wrong.


A: Now you're using absolute position for the menu:

Try to use relative position

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="10px";
  var posY="10px";
