Recent Questions Jquery Menutree Cannot Display Image
Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.
A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Unfortunately we don't have examples with ASP and SQL.

A: Your browser has JavaScript option disabled.
It means that no one JavaScript element can be run.
You should to enable JavaScript in IE:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom level... -> Scripting -> Active Scripting = Enable
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

JavaScript Tree Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.

Run Tuner, load your horizontal menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).Q: I'm fairly new to HTML and Java. I'm using your popup window html, (its great) but do notknow how to use the "ID object" function. I'm using Frontpage as my HTML editor. The only way I can figure out how to give "a line of text" or a "Graphic" and ID is to create a "Layer". That creates an (ID) in the HTML script. But I still cannot get the pop up to work when clicking the object. How is the best way to create an object ID that will all Deluxe pop-up to recognize it?

One last thing...Can I create a pop up that fly's out after 10 seconds, and within that fly out have a link that opens another pop up with important info in it using the iframe feature?

A: See you can show the popup window when you hover, click or mouseout on some elements on yourpage. For example you've added an image in the FrontPage. Right click on this image and goto "Picture properties...", on the Appearance tab select 'Style...' and enter any text inthe ID field, for example 'open_popup'. Switch to 'Code' mode, you'll have the followingcode:

So, in the Deluxe Tuner you should enter 'open_popup' object ID in the onMouseOver,onClick or onMouseOut fields.
Actually you can assign id to any object on your page manually. Switch to 'Code' mode andadd id="open_popup" for <a>, <div>, <img> ... tags.

You can add as many popups as you want.

Use another winID (first parameter) than you have in your data file if you don't want to close 1-st popup window or use thesame winID=win if you want to close 1-st popup.
content - will be the path to the file you want to load in your popup (files/test.html)
skin - is the name of your skin (default in my example)
contentType - set this parameter to iframe.Q: I did have a question. I cannot seem to figure out how to get the individual menu styles to be applied to any of my items for thenavigation bar through the Deluxe Tuner. I’ve looked through through your documentation, but I cannot find anything that explains to me how I do this in the Deluxe Tuner.
A: To create Individual styles click "Edit Individual Styles..." button.
1) In the "Individual Styles" window click "Add Style", enter the nameof the new style.
2) Edit parameters of your style
4) Click "OK" button.
5) Select items (you can use Ctrl and Shift buttons to select group ofitems) and assign "Item Style"/"Submenu Style" to it. (in the "Item Parameters" window)
