Recent Questions Javascript Tree Map

Q: I recently downloaded the trial version of Deluxe Tuner to create a pop-up menu for my website. The menu looks amazing, and I am convinced from the trial that this is a product that I could definitely use.

However, I'm having so much trouble putting my horizontal drop down menu into my Dreamweaver html. I've followed the instructions given, but my menu still does not appear. What am I doing wrong?

A: Check that you've copied "Homedir/" folder with all menus files and data.js file into the same folder withHome page.html file.

Notice also that in the Design mode your drop down menu may displayincorrectly. It is normal. You should view your page in browser preview.

Q: I would like to use your menu for a website I am building of which will only exists on a CD ROM.

Is it possible to purchase a license that will operate the html drop down menu on a CD ROM preventing the ‘Incorrect license’ message from appearing?

A: To use JavaScript Tree Menu on CD/DVD you should buy developerlicense. Other licenses allow you to use the html drop down menu on Internet/Intranetwebsites only.

Q: It works great in IE, but doesn't work in Firefox.

A: Please, try to specify units in "px".

For example:
var itemPadding = "3px";
Try that.

Q: We have a problem. If the "sub menus" open downward (in a horizontal menu) and there is Flash under it, the menu disappears. It goes BEHIND the flash and can't be seen.

Is there a fix for this?
