Q: I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to get content into each "tab" for the dhtml tab menus. I see that content can be put into div-tag or frame, but how is it referenced in tab so whensomeone clicks the tab, it shows that content? Is it the link variable in the MenuTuner? Can the content be a separate html page?
A:See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:
1. var tabMode=0; You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of the DIV's to show when you click on the tab.
You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field: "object:" - means that there is object id after it; "link:" - means that there is a link after it. "javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')
Q: I am using Javascript Menu. JavaScript Tree Menu. v1.12 How can I upgrade to v.2.0?
A:How to upgrade to v2.00 --------------------------------------------------------------- You can download the licensed engine .js files from the same link in your license message.JavaScript Tree Menu v2.00 has new parameters and features. To upgrade to v2.00 you should do the following.
Step 1. 1.1 For Windows users a. Run Deluxe Tuner v2.0 (can be found in the trial menu package v2.0 http://deluxe-menu.com/deluxe-menu.zip). b. Open menu data file (.js file where menu parameters are placed): select File/OpenЕ c. Save the file: select File/Save, then click "No" button when the dialog box appears.
1.2 For other OS users a. Open menu data file (.js file where menu parameters are placed) in a text editor. b. Make sure that the following variables exist in the data file:
var keystrokes = 0; var dm_focus = 1; var dm_actKey = 113;
var dynamic = 0; var smHideOnClick = 1; var itemAlignTop = 'left'; var smSmartScroll = 1;
var dmAJAX = 0; var dmAJAXCount = 30; var dmRTL = 0; var dmObjectsCheck = 0; var menuBackRepeat = "repeat"; var menuHeight = ""; var transDuration2 = 200;
If one of the variables doesn't exist - add it at the beginning of the file.

Step 3. Replace existent tags of the menu by the following code:
<noscript><a href="http://deluxe-menu.com">Javascript Menu by Deluxe-Menu.com</a></noscript>

Try that.
Q: We've been using JavaScript Tree Menu for a couple of years now and we're very pleased with it. Recently, we switched to a layout heavy on CSS, and when we insert the javascript menu code into an absolutely-positioned div, the menu appears where it should, but the sub-menus drop down off to the side in both Firefox and IE. I've tried adjusting the x-offsets in the configuration file with negative values to bring them closer to the top-level menu item, but this doesn't seem to do the trick completely.
I also went through a number of sample questions in the support section of the JavaScript Tree Menu site, but I haven't been able to find any sort of resolution.
If you have any suggestions, I'd be very appreciative.
A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file). In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add style="POSITION: absolute; TOP: 0px"
You should replace dm_init() function with dm_initFrame() function. Please, open your data.js file with the menu parameters in any texteditor and change it. You should write, for example so:
