Please let me know the following:

a) How could I call a script instead of specifying a link?

b) If the above is possible, please let me know how, in the called script, I could know where the call to the script come from.


A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]
];

Q: Can this javascript collapsible menu be integrated into Expression Web?

A: JavaScript Tree Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/Microsoft Expression Web extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:

Q: On the left menuline under the a1 link, shall appear the javascript menu div, but after several refreshes, nothing happens.
On the local computer, the javascript menu div is working perfectly!

<TD class=sidebar vAlign=top width=160>

tag with the following styles:

DISPLAY: none! important
}

.sidebar TABLE TR TD {
DISPLAY: none}

That's why you cannot see the javascript menu div. Delete "DISPLAY: none" propertyfrom the style.

Q: We are showing the "incorrect copyright" on our menu for some reason and I need you to look at the code. It's been this way for about a month. My company is going to make me stop using your menu if I can't get the issue corrected so please help me determine why we are suddenly having this problem.

The notice shows up on IE 6, but not IE 7.


A: "Incorrect Copyright" means that the script can't find required copyright parameters.
To avoid this, please, change:
