Recent Questions Treeview Js On Mac

Q: Do the Vista style menus support a separator?
It seems to add some space but the separator line is not drawn.

A: Yes, you can paste a separator in the Vista style menus.

Please, see the following parameters:

//--- Separators
  var separatorImage=""; //for subitems
  var separatorWidth="5";
  var separatorHeight="100%";
  var separatorAlignment="right";
  var separatorVImage="images/public/separator.gif"; //for the top items
  var separatorVWidth="3";
  var separatorVHeight="100%";
  var separatorPadding="";

You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["Home","index.cfm", , , , , , , , ],
["About Us","about.cfm", , , , , , , , ],

Try that.

Q: I installed the trail version before I want to buy it. It looks wonderfull, but I was unable to make menu items inside a PHP file.

Do you have an example(tutorial) how to at deluxe menu inside a php file ?

A: Unfortunately, we don't have such example.

You can create your menu using PHP, for example:
<?php echo " ["|Bibliografia - ksiazki","home_bibliografia_dol.php","","","",,,],"; ?>
<?php echo " ["|Bibliografia - artykuly","home_bibliografia_dol1.php","","","",,,],"; ?>
<?php echo " ["|Bibliografia - linki","home_bibliografia_dol2.php","","","",,,],"; ?>

Please, see the following link too

Q: Is there any way to call a javascript function on mouseover from a menu item?

A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]

  var menuItems = [
["item text", "javascript:alert('Hello World')", , , , ,]

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item. However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onMouseover='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]

Q: I would love to buy your product BUT, I am not sure if it will do what I want - can I call javascript within the dynamic menu?

For example my old page for disaster recovery we have inserted a URL substitution :

The javascript function is called at the top of the nav page:

<script LANGUAGE = "JavaScript" SRC = "../urlSub.js"> </script>

then the link on the nav menu

<a> href="#" ONCLICK = "urlSubstitution('transco/sheet.asp?stype=1')">Table of Contents </a>
HOWEVER, Im not sure if this is possible with your product?

A: Yes, it is possible.

Actually you can use your own Javascript code instead standard links and html code inside item text. For example:

  var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_code_here"]

  var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='urlSubstitution(\'transco/sheet.asp?stype=1\')'>Table of Contents</div>", ""]
