Q: I am wanting to load menu items from a sql database but I cannot understand how to do it using the example you provided.
I am using asp but do not know how to incorporate it into the above javascript. Would it be possible for you to provide me with an example please? I tried using <% …… %> but this did not work.
A: Unfortunately we don't have example with ASP.

Q: I try to use the javascript menu popups to show an image; then when the mouse is over the image I dynamically generate a panel of http links. It works perfectly, but the problem is that I would like to do the same with several images (for instance 2) and different links : I'm not able to do that, whether I change the value of menuItems var or not, I display the same link values on both images (it seems menuItems is a global var and can be set only once).
Have you heard about this problem and could you give me a solution (this is a bit urgent, I have sold this solution to my customers) ?
A: See how you should call dm_popup() functions:

Q: I looked through your FAQ's to solve my problem of trying to make the background of the top dhtml slide menu transparent. I set the itemBackColor to transparent and also menuBackColor to transparent. Do I have to changeanother setting to activate this? Right now it is currently white and I can't even find a spot that would make it white, unless it's just white by default.
A: Check that you haven't set background color in the Individual Styles.
Q: It all works great under IE, but when you view it in Firefox the fly-out menus (off of Products, Services & About Us) do not appear over the Flash animation to the right in IE.
It works fine under Firefox on all other pages apart form Home, because Home is the only page with containing the Flash animation.
Could you please have a look and let us know if this is a known issue (we're using the latest 8 dmenu .js file, time-stamped 11 April 2006).
