Recent Questions Modify Ext Tree
Q: I am using Deluxe-menu 3.0.
I can add dhtml popup menu items and submenu items. Each new sub menu item is placed at the bottom of that list. How can I move it up in the listing.
For instance if my menus are:
2007
2006
2005
2004
and I add 2008 - it will be placed below 2004, but I want it at the top of the list. Each item in the list has multiple subitems, so I don't want to delete the other items to get it in the correct order.
I looked through your help file, FAQ and online questions and could not find an answer.
A: To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method.
To copy dhtml popup menu items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.
You can find this info in Tuner's help, "Main Window" sheet.
Q: We are using the javascript drop down menu code to create an external link. The absolute path is recognised but it does not work. At the bottom of the page the browser displays an "error on page" message and nothing happens.

The second call for dmWorkPath is incorrect. Delete it. So you'llhave:

Your menu will work correctly.
Q: I was enthused to see you had cross-frame support for your menus. But, as I got into it, I discovered that your javascript transparent menu doesn't support frames within frames.
A: Actually JavaScript Tree Menu works correctly with nested frames in most cases.Try to install JavaScript Tree Menu in cross-frame mode. If you'll have someproblems you can send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.
Q: It's been couple of months since I last time asked something about tree menu. I am still evaluating the software.
I have a short question. Is it possible to use CSS instead of JavaScript to tune the look and feel of the tree menu? For example I would be interested in giving menu css java item height value in relative numbers (em or %) rather than specifying a size in pixels...
A: But actually you can use 'em' and '%' units in Javascript/DHTML Tree, forexample.
