Q: I bought the JavaScript Tree Menu system for one website. Javascript select menu works well on all versions of IE that I tried (5,6,7)
However, the background and shadow do not render in Firefox. As a result the menu is not as attractive.
Can you help with this or am I stuck?
A: You should add Individual Item style and assign it for the top javascript select menu items:

Q: When the page initially loads, the sizing of all the tabsappear the way I want them to.
The first time any of the tabs are clicked on in the dhtml tab menu, I get a little bit of white space and a faint vertical line just to the left of tab 1.

You should also set
var bselectedItem=0;
to select your first item by default in that case.
Q: When running DeluxeMenu with IE or Firefox, the background (appearance and items) is transparent.
It is not smart because it affects the reading of the menu's.
My question is: how can I fix this problem for IE and Firefox ?
If you look at it with Opera (version 9.00) one does not have the problem.

Q: How can I make items appear much more quickly in the drop down menu samples?
They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximately one second.
A: Try to adjust the following parameters:

var smShowPause=100;
var smHidePause=1000;
var transDuration=150;
var transDuration2=200;
You can also turn off transitional effects
