A: Unfortunately there is no such a function now.
There are such variables.
dtabs_tabs[menuN].b1 - dtabs_tabs[menuN].selectedItem
dtabs_tabs[menuN].JT0 - dtabs_tabs[menuN].selectedSmItem
But they contain the index of the selected menu item, not the ID.Q: I am thinking of purchasing your javascript menu creator. I have a question about a single use license. I have two computers my home desktop and my laptop that I travel with. Since I would be the only user would I be able to put a copy of javascript menu creator on each computer?
A: You can install JavaScript Tree Menus on unlimited number of computers.
With Single Website license your reg. key will work on the registereddomain only.

Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.
A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Unfortunately we don't have examples with ASP and SQL.

But we are not able to use PNGFix javascript which is used for transparent PNG image in our down navigation bar. Your menu is transparent but it goes one layes behind. It should come on top of all with transparecy.
Your reply could help us make a buying decision.
A: Unfortunately it is really so. PNGFix javascript won't work.
We'll try to add feature to use transparent PNG images in the next version of JavaScript Tree Menu.
