Q: I have a problem. How can we get the value of a parameter passed by the menu, when a menu item is clicked? For example I want to get the URL or file name to be open by the menu item when it is clicked.
I am talking about TREE menu.
A: If you want to open url or a file when you click on items of the tree menu you can write, for example:

Q: I have made use of the Ajax function in JavaScript Tree Menu. It has made maintenance of a rather complex menu system a lot easier.
I went to generate a Site Map in dhtml menu builder today and realized a shortcoming of using Ajax submenus, the Site Map doesn't show Ajax submenus.
It would be great to have an option in the Generate Site Map (as well as Google XML and Google Search) to include Ajax submenus for a complete picture of the web site.
A: Unfortunately there are such problems with saving of AJAX submenus.
It is not possible to save AJAX submenus in Deluxe Tuner now and it is not possible tocreate search engine friendly code and sitemap for the AJAX submenus.
We'll try to add such features in the future versions of Deluxe Tuner.
Q: I am evaluating De Luxe menu. We perhaps like to become OEM distributor.
But I have a question.
In a website i would like to align 3 menu items to the left of the page and the other items to the right.
The 3 items to the left have a different style. But all have a fixed width.
I tried to define a spacer between the items but this didn't work out.

Is it possible to create a custom image to be used as the base image for the main javascript pull down menu? If, so how is it done? Or is it mandatory to use the templates available? I would like to have a larger image for the main javascript pull down menu. Most templates have very small and thin images.
A: No, it is not mandatory to use templates.
You can use your own images. Try to use the following javascript pull down menu parameters:
