Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.

I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

See the attached example. Search works fine.

You can also specify styles for the search box:

Q: That is what I need:

a) I build a menu with an item like this:

b) when I select that item, I need that page product1.htm loads into an iFrame.

Can I do this?


A: You should set the Iframe name as the target value in the menuItems.
You should also set the following parameter:

Q: I’ve tried every configuration available—absolute and relativepositioning and so on. I can’t get the menus to display correctly.

I have to offset the topDX by -150 and so on just to fudge it into a CLOSE position…it certainly doesn’t mirror the preview window


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your

css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="position:absolute;"

to the

<DIV id=navholder>

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=navholder style="position:absolute;">

- Item ID format has changed. It depends on the parent ID = [parent ID]i[item index].
Examples: for the first level dtree _0i0, dtree_0i1..., for the second level dtree_0i1i0,dtree_0i1i1, dtree_0i1i2...

Where do I fill in?

Do I have to rename my cascading menu titles?
