Q: I think that your product is great makes everything look nice and professional with the drop down menu Items. My question is I have certain menu Items that I will need to disable at certain times. I do this now using a standard button and grabbing my parameters from an SQL database. Is there a way for me to basically pull which menu items I need disabled and present the customized menu for each client. I have read that your product has this ability I was looking for a little guidance or maybee a write up on someone that has done this.
A: Unfortunately, JavaScript Tree Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You should write your own code, for example, on PHP.
You can try to use the following function
function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(1, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.

Q: I'm about to create a transparent menu as you can see on the attached photo. I can't find any samples on how to place the cascading navigation bar on an image with 100% opacity. Is it possible...?
A: To create a transparent menu you should set transparent value for the following parameters:
var menuBackColor="transparent";
var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];
Q: How do I make the submenus sticky i.e. they will not close even when the mouse goes to somewhere else on the page?
A: I've checked your menu in all browsers. I can't see such problem.
You can try to adjust these parameters:

Q: We purchased the JavaScript Tree Menu a few months ago and are extremely happy with the product. We have been getting great compliments about our new navigation system.
The menu has over 500 links and functions like a dream! One issue I am having, that I just cannot seem to figure out how to fix, is the following:
Our nav menu is displayed approx. 70 pixels from the top of the browser window. On the drop down links that have a number of items (example 1 in the image below), they display underneath the menu, however on the links that have only a few items, they display above the menu bar in java script as in example 2 in the image below.
How can I set it so that no matter how many drop-down items there are, they always display under the menu bar in java script, not on top?
