but it didn't change it;

I went to your sample page and I would like to add the item widths into mydata.js file, but each item is a different width. Would it be correct for meto do this?...

Q: Will the .js file dhtml menu script still be obfuscated with the purchased version of JavaScript Tree Menu?

Q: I have not been able to get the dhtml context menu - or any other Javascript - to appear. I use FrontPage2000. Any ideas?

JavaScript Tree Menus weren't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the dhtml context menuinto your html page:
1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:

It is possible that Dreamweaver changes some paths, so you havean error in the preview.

into "deluxe-menu.files/" folder. You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index. html page.
Q: There is the possibility in the menu that an item has access control, that is is visible or not depending of the user?
A: You can use Javascript API and write your own code.

dm_ext_changeItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)
to disable your items or
dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)
to hide your items.
