Q: You know how you can drag sub-menus? Well I was wondering if it is possible to drag individual items off of the sub-menu?


A: No, it is not possible to drag items from submenu.

Q: I am using the menu in a frameset, and I would like for the selected menu branch of the side navigation bar to stay highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window (where the menu brings up a new page),just so the user knows where he/she is. Is that possible?

A: If you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:

  var ttoggleMode=1;
  var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";

You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
  var tsaveState=1;
  var tsavePrefix="menu1";

If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:

Q: I am Registered user.
My question is:
Can you have borders around the sub-menus only. If you can how is this done, if it is done in the individual styles can you walk me through that. I tried it there but for some reason it wasn’t working. I'm thinking I wasn’t selecting the correct item to edit.


A: You should create Individual style and assign it to the first item in each submenu.

Q: I 've faced problem in new version v3 of dhtml menu generator.

The problem is visualization of cyrillic fonts I took my js file - just edited it ( adding one menu item) and saved.

I think it's not just browser problem because if reopen js in deluxe menu we can see unreadable text. There are no such problems in V2.4.
