Recent Questions Treeview Dynamic Css ExampleQ:
I recently purchased DeluxeMenu for a project I'm working on and a new requirement has been submitted.
after it's been rendered(displayed) in the browser.
Can this be accomplished with this component?A: 1) You can use API functions to affect items dynamically:
2) Generate your menu items dynamically from database.
Unfortunately we don't have working example with ASP.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:
<!-- (c) 2008, http://deluxe-menu.com -->
// and describe parameters of a menu
var menuItems = [
// here you generate items using server-side scripts (php, asp, vb, etc.)
The example of the menu working with PHP/MYSQL you can find here:
I am a web designer and considering purchase of your product. I have downloaded a trial dhtml menu version, but no image files were created. Other programs I have tried exported html, js file, & image files. What's the deal?
Please help! A: I'm not sure I understand you.
You should create your menu in Deluxe Tuner app (you can also usetemplates). Then you should save your menu as .js file (click "yes" tosave all files for the menu). You also can save your menu into htmlpage.
However,I am trying to create a menu like<http://deluxe-tree.com/data-samples/tree-menuxp3.html> and amfrustrated.
Where can I get a template or instructions on which parameters I ammisunderstanding in deluxe tuner?
I want a menu with the expandable + signs on the left which will expandon rollover and allow only one to be expanded at the same time. A: You should set the following parameters
var texpandItemClick = 1;
var tcloseExpanded = 1;
var tcloseExpandedXP = 1;
Try to do it in the new Deluxe Tuner beta version. We've fixed somebugs with these parameters in the new version.
I am evaluating your product and would like to display my top menu without a border, but have the dropdown (child menus) all have a border and shadow.
If I change the menuBorderWidth to anything but 0, I get a menu on both the top menus and dropdowns. I need a topBorderWidth and a childBorderWidth.
Is there any way to accomplish this? A: Yes, you can do it.
To set border for submenus you should use Individual Submenu styles, for example:
var menuStyles = [
["menuBorderWidth=1","menuBorderColor=#9A9CA7"], //style 0
var menuItems = [
["Home","testlink.html", , , , , , , , ],
["Product Info","", "default.files/icon1.gif", "default.files/icon1o.gif", , , , , , ],
["|Features","testlink.html", "default.files/icon2.gif", "default.files/icon2o.gif", , , , "0", , ], //style 0
["Samples","", "default.files/icon1.gif", "default.files/icon1o.gif", , , , , , ],
["|Sample 1","testlink.html", "default.files/icon6.gif", "default.files/icon6o.gif", , , , "0", , ], //style 0
["|Sample 2 is Disabled","testlink.html", "default.files/icon6.gif", "default.files/icon6o.gif", , "_", , "-1", , ],
You should assign style for the first item in the submenu.
