Q: How do I turn off the transitional effects for the dreamweaver drop down menu?

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

  var transOptions="";
  var transDuration=0;
  var transDuration2=0;

Q: Only with IE7 (IE6 ok, firefox ok): on rollover on javascript submenu, the images don't show properly .. But, at second rollover on the same link, the image shows it correctly...
