Q: How can I make items appear much more quickly in the drop down menu samples?
They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximately one second.

A: Try to adjust the following parameters:

  var dm_writeAll=0;

  var smShowPause=100;
  var smHidePause=1000;

  var transDuration=150;
  var transDuration2=200;

You can also turn off transitional effects
  var transition=-1;

Q: I am wanting to load menu items from a sql database but I cannot understand how to do it using the example you provided.

I am using asp but do not know how to incorporate it into the above javascript. Would it be possible for you to provide me with an example please? I tried using <% …… %> but this did not work.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of the
DIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: I have to find out, how the tree view navigation is NOT expanding in the beginning..

A: You should set the following parameter:
