Q: I have an even more vexing issue. For some reason my arrows are showing up on the left side of each java dhtml menu item, it seems the arrows icons are also retaining the right side padding for the java dhtml menu items. Can you give me a hand with this?

A: Now you have the following java dhtml menu parameter:

  var dmRTL=1;

You should set it to:

  var dmRTL=0;



Q: I have a question, why sample 2 item in my horizontal dropdown menu is disable?


A: To disable items you should set item target parameter as "_".

For example:

Q: I would like the button in the sub navigation bar to stay white when you navigate to a particular page..


A: Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

Q: Can I just have the date displayed without the time in the javascript popup calendar


A: You cannot hide time from the calendar templates.

But you can chose the output data format.
