Q: I need to know if separate coloring of main items is possible in slide drop down menu.

A: You can create Individual Item styles and assign it for the top items,for example:
  var itemStyles = [
["itemBackColor=#8080FF,#FFFF80","itemBorderStyle=solid,solid","itemBorderColor=#000080,#FF8000"],//style0
["itemBackColor=##FFFFF,#000000","itemBorderStyle=solid,solid","itemBorderColor=##AA0000,#0000EE"],//style1
];

  var menuItems = [
["Item 1","", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", "", "", ], //style0
["Item 2","", "", "", "", "", "1", "", "", "", "", ], //style1
 ["|Item 3","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
 ["|Item 4","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["Item 5","", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", "", "", ], //style0
 ["|Item 7","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
 ["|Item 8","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["Item 6","", "", "", "", "", "1", "", "", "", "", ], //style1

Q: I can't find anywhere in your documentation that states where
I can call function onclick other than in the menu target for dhtml menu script.

A: You can use onclick event in the following way:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='getLink(\'/Admin/Sales/Customers/Customers.asp\')'>Table of Contents</div>", ""]
];

Q: I'm using onclick tabs and want to ask if it's possible to change the the z-index id?

A: To change z-index in Deluxe Tabs you should open dtabs.js file in anytext editor and find the following text "  var TLJ=2000;".
Here you should change the value.

Q: You have a great, and very intuitive and easy to learn, product.

I'm down to two dumb questions:

A. What controls the little red arrows? I'd like them on every one of the navigators.
B. How do I create equal space between the drop down menu items? It looks weird right now.

A: 1) If your top item has a submenu this arrow will appear automatically.

For the items without submenus you may write:

["Home   <img src='skin_data.files/arrowmain11.gif'>","index.html", "", "", "", "_self", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["About Us   <img src='skin_data.files/arrowmain11.gif'>","about_us.html", "", "", "", "_self", "", "", "", "", "", ],
You can find arrowmain11.gif image in the attached example.

Actually you can add any html code inside item's text.

2) Set the drop down menu padding:

  var itemPadding="3px 15px 3px 3px";
