but it didn't change it;

I went to your sample page and I would like to add the item widths into mydata.js file, but each item is a different width. Would it be correct for meto do this?...

A: You don't have to change your dmenu_add.js file.
Please, place this file in the folder where your menu iscreated in.
Yes, you can set itemWidth for each main item.

Q: Hello, I am trying out your dhtml menu and would like to load an iframe into one of the menus, how would I go about this?
A: If you want to insert <iframe> object inside a menu item you can do following things.
You can paste any html code into menu items, for example:
["item text <iframe src="link"></iframe>", link, ...]
Q: I am trying to have the selected top item in the pop up menu remain on the mouseover event after it is selected.
It seemed to be working fine when i was just testing with # as a link
but when i actually linked to different pages it returns to normal.
How do i get this to work?

JavaScript Tree Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:
<noscript><a href="http://deluxe-menu.com">Javascript Menu by Deluxe-Menu.com</a></noscript>
<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/dmenu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"> var pressedItem=3;</script>
...
<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/data.js"></script>
You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: The only remaining problem I see is that the html popup menu appears in slightly different positions depending upon where your mouse touches the icon.
Is there a way to make the menu position absolute in respect to the icon? I have tried playing with the menu item parameters that seemed related with no success.
A: See dm_popup() function parameters:
return dm_popup(menuInd, pause, event, x, y)
menuInd - index of the menu on a page, >= 0.
pause - determines the time when the html popup menu will be hidden.
event - constant. Do not change.
x, y - optional. Set these parameters if you want the menu to appear in the specified place.
In other case the menu will be shown in the mouse position.
