Recent Questions Template Tree Menu
Q: We have purchased 'JavaScript Tree Menu...'.
We are integrating the menu into the site. However, we are facing an issue i.e. drop down menu with css overlapping the 'Select' box in the IE 6.0.
I went through the help pages in the deluxe menu website and tried out the Suggestion of assigning 1 to dmObjectsCheck i.e. var dmObjectsCheck=1 and adding the function as below.
function dm_ext_ruleObjectHide()
{
return !document.all;
}
It is throwing some error when we do that. Could you please suggest, what should we to get rid of overlapping. Please see the attached screen for the error. The error captured using Firefox.
A: Check that you're using JavaScript Tree Menu v3.2.5.
Check also that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.
Or you can try to set also the following parameter:
var useIFRAME=1;
Q: I have been trying for months to find an answer to my submenu problem using your FAQ and Recent Questions.
The only thing that comes close to an answer is from one of your Recent Questions below, but I don't understand the answer. Will you please give me specific code or info to fix? Please refer to my frameset code and data.js info, which I've provided further down this message.
I am using cross frame menu dropdown. I have three frames: Top, Left and main (middle).
I am using the script and data from your sample file, it works fine. Only problem is submenu is offset to the right. It does not show up exactly down below the top javascript hide menu.
A: Yes, I suppose that the reason is in your frame structure. For examplenow you have:

Try to add additional frame in your top frame with the same width asyour left frame has:
l-top-|right-top-----------------

left--|main----------------------

What I meant to say was that the Deluxe tabs onmouseover maker did not include the vertical tabs as part of its repertoire and as a result, I was not able to produce it and integrate it into my page. I am not confident that I can edit the HTML adequately to make it work on my site if the Deluxe Maker did nod not generate it. I will look at this again and see if I reinstall the deluxe tuner whether it will generate the data for the vertical tabs.

A: Set '$' symbol in the beginning of items text to start new row:

Q: Looks like my submenu text is too long for the background.
How can I ensure the background is the same length as the longest word in my java edit menu submenu list.
