Q: In my page are links in subfolders (for example /ergebnisse/2006/test.htm). When I call a page in a subfolder, in first time this page is shown correctly. The next page I call could not found. I belief the pointer is in the subfolder an so the page could not found.
A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: When I load a page with dhtml menu sample, lets say contact, the first tab is always highlighted, not the contact tab
A: I suppose that you've set the following parameter:
var bselectedItem=1;
So, the first tab is always highlighted.
This Tab menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only. If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem. You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters( var bselectedItem, var bselectedSmItem) or using any server-sidescript (php, asp, etc.)
You should delete this parameter from your data file and write thefollowing code on each page before you call your data file, for example:
<script language="JavaScript1.2>
var bselectedItem = 3;
</script>
Q: First I want to thank you for the great support you provided. I have another question about the dynamic javascript tree. Is there a javascript API to fire an user click event so the browser will load proper page accordingly? I looked around the current APIs from your site and could not find one.
A: You can use dtreet_ext_userClick (itemID) function.

Actually you can use your own Javascript code instead standard links and html code inside item text. For example:
var tmenuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
or
var tmenuitems = [
["<div onClick='urlSubstitution(\'transco/sheet.asp?stype=1\')'>Table of Contents</div>", ""]
];
Q: I am evaluating your JavaScript Tree Menu. I see there are many different template designs. Is it possible to create a custom image to be used as the base image for the main javascript pull down menu? If, so how is it done? Or is it mandatory to use the templates available? I would like to have a larger image for the main javascript pull down menu. Most templates have very small and thin images.
A: No, it is not mandatory to use templates.
You can use your own images. Try to use the following javascript pull down menu parameters:
var menuBackImage="";
var menuBackRepeat="repeat";
var itemBackImage=["",""];
And Individual Item Style and Individual Submenu Styles.
