Javascript Tree Menu. Expandable Menu.

You can set default expanded/collapsed items and submenus.
After clicking on menu item selected item becomes highlighted.
When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.
There is no need to write additional code on a server side to remember what items were expanded/collapsed. Javascript/DHTML Tree can save items state automatically!

Q: I am testing a trial version of your Deluxe Tuner software.

I cannot configure the actual links or link names?

How do I do this?

A: You can assign link for each item.
Please, use Deluxe Tuner. In the "Item parameters" window you can set text, link, target, iconsfor the menu items.

Q: I use menu with color graphic buttons, I believe the color buttons locate in @BOOK1\@Test_BOOK1.files.
At this directory level(please look in Book1.zip), the display is OK,

However, if I click on "06) Introduction.to.Small-Signal.Amplifiers\<>>(06_IT.htm)" to move to the next level, the color buttons will not display properly.

Can I set pointer that tells file 06_IT.htm that I have "@Test_BOOK1.files" in "@BOOK1" folder?

A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Please, try to use these parameters.

Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in my java menu scripts! I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work Have we a problem with Danish letters like: ø, å, æ?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor, enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.
Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting inorder to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.

Q: Where can I change the font size in the main deluxe menu's (i.e. Products, About, Contact Us)?
Using the deluxe tuner doesn't allow me change this font or the size, so the submenu's are bigger than the top.

A: You can also check Individual Item Styles. May be you set font sizefor the top items using Individual Item Styles.
