Q: I make an example of html menu, but when i use it with frameset then the menu not show completly.

Is this possible, perhaps by using a javascript call?


A: To initialize the cross frame menu you should call dm_initFrame() function
instead of standard dm_init() function within data.js file:

dm_initFrame(framesetID, mainFrameInd, subFrameInd, orientation);

framesetID - id attribute of the frameset;
mainFrameInd - index of the main frame (where the top-menu is placed), >=0;
subFrameInd - index of the subframe (where the submenus will be shown), >=0;
orientation - frame orientaion: 0 - top-to-bottom, 1 - left-to-right; 2 - bottom-to-top; 3 - right-to-left.

Q: I am in the process of building this site, but as you will see the menu text is showing on the top menue, but not the javascript hide menu itself.

A: You forgot to upload engine files on you server.
That is why you see search engine friendly code for the javascript hide menu only:

Notice that you should call dmenu.js file and dmWorkPath parameter on your html page only once.

Q: I have used your Deluxe-menu on my websit. With the browser Opera I have problems with the dhtml scrolling menu item-color. If I select the menu at the first time, the item color is black. After select a menu item the menu item color is #f0e4cc, this is correct. After re-select the menu the item color is #f0e4cc also. After browser re-start the menu item color is black :-(

A: See it is not correctly to write colors in the following way (without # symbol):
  var fontColor=["f0e4cc","f0e4cc"];

You should write:
  var fontColor=["#f0e4cc","#f0e4cc"];

Your menu will work correctly in all browsers in that case.

Q: One question. I'm working on my site and I'm wondering why the background images disappear for a while after hovering over them, then reappear after a while.
Can you tell me how to stop this from happening?


A: ow you have such parameter:

  var itemBackColor=["#FFFFFF","#4792E6"];

The second color is the mouseover background color.
