You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

Q: I have a question regarding your java dropdown menu. I am evaluating them in order to assess their functionality.

My menu will often have many items, say 100 or so. I would like them to display horizontally, like a grid so they are all visible on one page. Also, they should run alphabetically down each column, then to the next column like a telephone book, not across.

Q: I'm trying to find a decent, simple, working example of a dynamically-generated DHTML Pop-up Window. Using the "Deluxe Tuner" to generate static files is unacceptable for our use. We must create pop-up menus on the fly.
