Q: I downloaded the tuner and am testing the file prior to purchasing. Is there a way to set up categories and beneath those categories there are subitems...then depending on what page I am on in the website, the appropriate category and subitems automatically show up in the javascript tree view menu?
If so, can you please tell me where and how to setup a menu if it's just changing a variable. Maybe you have an example of the web?
Here's an example of what we are needing. If you open your website http://deluxe-tree.com/samples-sample.html there are 2 sep. menus, one at the top and one on the side.
If I click Samples on the top menu, the samples submenu should automatically expand on the javascript tree view menu. How would I set this up?

It has worked fine on the previous two sites, but I am making a horizontal menu this time instead of a vertical menu. The menu won't align itself correctly in Firefox. I read the post in your FAQ and I set the align tag in the TD element and also the size attribute, but that didn't work.
Could you give me some suggestions. It looks fine ie IE, but not Firefox.
A: Try to specify exact value for menu width.
For example:
var menuWidth="800px";
It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helpsto position menus correctly.
Q: I’ve tried every configuration available—absolute and relativepositioning and so on. I can’t get the menus to display correctly.
I have to offset the topDX by -150 and so on just to fudge it into a CLOSE position…it certainly doesn’t mirror the preview window
A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add style="position:absolute;"
to the
<DIV id=navholder>
So, you'll have:
<DIV id=navholder style="position:absolute;">
Q: Could you tell me if this drop down menus javascript work with Japanese fonts?
A: If you are using a Japanese system then everything should render correctly.
If you are using an English system with a Japanese IME then you willneed to set the font in the Tuner to one that supports the characters you require.
