Q: I am looking at purchasing the Drop Down Menu Program. I cannot find any examples of other sites that may be using your product.
And each link that I click on for help gives me code to use on the page. Does this mean that I need to know JavaScript to use this program effectively? How recent is the newest version of your program?

No, there is no need in deep knowledge of javascript to use the menu.

Q: I can’t seem to figure out how to keep last clicked item in my java menu script marked.
I use these options:
pressedItem = -1
var saveNavigationPath = 1;
Where and how do I determine the background color of the clicked item?

A: The menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: Why when an image is added to the parent javascript layer menu (bar) breaks in two...
I just purchased it today.
A: See images in Vista Templates have the fixed width and height (92 x 21).
If you want to change items' width/height you should change images.

You can do it in any graph editor, for example in Adobe PhotoShop.
You should also change items width in your Individual Item Style.

A: You should set the following parameters in your data.js file:

//Normal and mouseover arrow images for top-level items.
var arrowImageSub=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowsub.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowsubo.gif"];

You can set these parameters in Deluxe Tuner also:
Open 'Icons' section in the main window and set var arrowImageMain and var arrowImageSubparameters.
