Q: Can I ask a technical question? I am using the menu in a frameset, and I would like for the drop down menu selected branch to sty highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window (where the menu brings up a new page), just so the user knows where he/she is. Is that possible?

A: But if you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:
  var ttoggleMode=1;
  var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";

You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
  var tsaveState=1;
  var tsavePrefix="menu1";

If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:

Q: I've just put together a new drop down menu box for one of the sites I'm working on and whilst in IE it works fine, in FF the drop down menu box is not appearing over the Flash banner.

I don't understand why as this was put together with the latest version of JavaScript Tree Menu - my understanding was that this issue was resolved a while back?

Can you help me sort this.

Q: I have tried various different ways, but I cannot get a separator image
I have specified in the Separators section of menu generator to display in.
I have verified that the image exists, but still nothing.


A: To add a separator you should

You can create separators using menuItems
(you can do it in DeluxeTuner, use "Add separator" button),

Q: Is there any way to call a javascript function on mouseover from a menu item for a sub navigation bar?

A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item. However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:
