Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.
A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Unfortunately we don't have examples with ASP and SQL.

How do we get the software to recognize this default directory when generating the script and support files. The default needs to be added for the icon files etc.
A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: I still do not understand your answer about the simple java menu arrows, which work in preview, but not on the website. The html is correct.
A: You have

in your data js, so the arrows must be here

you arrows is here

You can use
var pathPrefix_img="menu/";
or change paths here

Q: Hello, you write, that your menu is search engine friendly.
But viewing the source of your samples, I don't see anything search engine friendly in there.
A Javascript is called, that's all, which I doublt could ever be Search Engine friendy?
The only thing I have seen as search engine friendly is the menu you have added at your own homepage.
Can this be set at your menue automatically?
Can you let me know, if the menu supports this kind. Your Features and Functions don't say anything about that either.
A: JavaScript Tree Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

</div>
To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).
