A: You should to use transitional effects.
Try to set

But notice that transitional effects are features of Internet Explorer5.5+ only.

Q: I have the menu working perfectly on the main page of the website,but when I try to install menu javascripts onto html files that appear in subfolders of the site, the images do not appear.
A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: How woud I make all the sub-menu’s height and text smaller in the css dhtml menu?
A: You can create Individual Item Style and assign it to each item insubmenu.
For example:
var itemStyles = [

and assign it to each item in submenu:

Q: I have been playing around with the demo version 2.4 of deluxe tabs, and have a couple of questions & comments:
Deluxe Tabs appears to not work at all on Windows Vista machines running Internet Explorer. This includes for example that the content in the dhtml tabs simply does not appear. Is there a fix for this?
Just want to make sure I can resolve these issues before making a purchase.
A: Try to use the latest version of Deluxe Tabs v3.2.9.
Try to delete height: 0%; parameter from the styles:
<div id="content1" style="height: 0%; visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">
So you'll have:
