A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: Is it possible to keep the main menu highlightedcorresponding to the page you are in? So, if you're on a specific page that button on the menu will automatically be highlighted.

A: You should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

Q: After creating a menu using Deluxe Tuner, the exported menu.htm file, when viewed in IE, creates the “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for options…”

What do I do to prevent the menu from causing this error message?


A: You should adjust your browser settings.

and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

Q: Can I just have the date displayed without the time in the javascript popup calendar


A: You cannot hide time from the calendar templates.

But you can chose the output data format.
