I’m wondering if there is a way to keep the roll over on the current page for the script drop down menu.
Pleaselet me know if it is possible and what I should do.A: You can find more info here:
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
I am just starting to work with deluxe menu for a site that I am developing. I will soon be going through the purchase of a license but have not yet reached that point.
Try to set exact width for the menu width and menu height, try to specify unitsin "px":
It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helpsto position menus correctly.
You should also check your padding parameter, you should write it so:
var itemPadding="1px 1px 1px 12px";
You can also send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.
I have already tried this exact same method, using and alternate "itemBackColor" and this is not what I needed. As you can see in your example putting in an item back color only give you a different bg color on the item itself, but the BG of the menu around it remains the same. In your example the lighter bg color of my menu is surrounding the item bg color making this look more like a mistake and poor design.
It do use the item bg color for the rollover in my menu, as you can see, but implementing this does not give me what I need. I need the BG color behind this item to be completely flush with the sides of the menu.
I had already checked the menu system thoroughly before contacting you and I was well aware of the option.. but as you can see this is not the solution. It is very important to me that this looks perfect, and what I need is not built into this menu by default.. I need another solution. A: You should set the following parameter:
You can also try to paste separators between items.
["Home","main.html", "", "", "", "#mainframe", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["County Departments","dept.html", "", "", "", "#mainframe", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["Board Members","", "", "", "", "mainfrm", "", "", "", "", "", ],
It is not correct to set target as "#mainframe". You should write"mainframe":
["Home","main.html", "", "", "", "mainframe", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["County Departments","dept.html", "", "", "", "mainframe", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["Board Members","", "", "", "", "mainframe", "", "", "", "", "", ],
