Q: Can you please give me tips on how I can style all menuitems to have font bold when selected and normal font when not selected?
A: Unfortunately, Javascript/DHTML Tree doesn't have such a feature. You can onlyset it's color. You cannot set the font of menu item bold when selected.
You can set menu item's font bold onMouseover, see example here:

Please, notice also that you should add this function every time whenyou change your menu in Deluxe Tuner application, as Tuner deletesthis function.
Q: I am trying to figure out how to specify the css for the top css dropdown menu.
I saw this in some of the example code, but there was nothing similar in Deluxe Tuner

The following code is Individual Styles. You can edit them in DeluxeTuner.
Open your data file, click "Edit Individual Styles..." button on themain window. And create individual item style and individual submenustyle. Then you should assign these styles to your items.

Q: How can I create an image based tabs with the javascript tabs generator.
A: To use Image templates you should add separators between the items and assign Tab Style for the items.
To make a separator set an Item Text value into '-'.

Q: How do I make the top nav buttons exactly the same width for each button?
Total menu width is 743px and I have 6 buttons I want the width of each button to be fixed at 123px.
I set var menuWidth="743" but it averages out the buttons based on the text.
